Carter was born and raised in the Lowcountry. He has over 8 years of experience in repairing and maintaining all types of home appliances. He is familiar with the operations of all brands, he is able to pinpoint problems quickly to provide a completed repair in an efficient and timely manner. He works diligently to provide accurate diagnoses & timely repairs to get your appliances back to working order. In his spare time, Carter enjoys computer programming, boating, and spending time with his dog Aurora.
Devon Puryear joined Aurora Appliance as the Business Manager to lead the company’s operations in 2019. Devon attended The University of North Carolina, Greensboro where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Business Administration. She worked in the Hospitality industry for 6 years for Intercontinental Hotels in Savannah, GA and Greenwood Communities and Resorts on Hilton Head Island. Devon ventured into the financial industry in 2015 where she continued to use her skills gained from her hospitality career to serve clients and build one on one relationships. Devon joined Aurora Appliance taking on a new challenge and is quickly learning her share of appliance repair. In addition to her duties as a Business Manager, Devon is active in organizations in her community. She enjoys spending time with family including 2 young children Aubrey and Carter, as well as boating here in the Lowcountry.

We highly recommend Carter Baumhoer-Master Technician at Aurora Appliance if you need repairs on any appliances. Our washing machine recently refused to evacuate water from the tub so our home warranty service sent Carter/Aurora Appliance. He diagnosed the problem quickly, set up a temporary fix until the required part could be ordered and returned to install the new part as promised. He is knowledgeable about most brands (offers reccos for new purchases if asked) and also does installations. He even showed us where the reset button for our finicky ice-maker was located!
